Tenor Jamie Formoy recently finished studying his masters at the Royal Northern College of Music. In 2019 he performed the role of Macduff with Preston Opera and was also involved in the 2019 Edinburgh International Festival performing as part of the chorus in a concert production of Götterdämmerung conducted by Sir Andrew Davis. Upcoming events include a concert performance of La Traviata and singing the roles of Second Priest and First Armed Man for Dorset Opera Festival’s production of The Magic Flute.
Having just made his Buxton Opera House debut singing the role of Adolfo Pirelli in Sweeney Todd, Jamie is delighted to be back in Buxton performing the role of Dai Bando in this exciting new production.
